Maurice Washington , an uncommitted running back from Texas, broke an AllAmerica record with three touchdowns for Team Highlight.

Chaminade-Madonna receiver and Alabama signee Xavier Williams made a 31-yard diving touchdown grab on a seam route early in the fourth quarter that brought Team Spotlight within 6 at 20-14.

Deerfield Beach linebacker Rosendo Louis, a South Carolina signee, was in on three consecutive tackles during one third-quarter drive. On the third, he forced a fumble that was recovered by FSU signee A.J. Lytton, a cornerback who was in the Seminoles’ class with Louis before he flipped to the Gamecocks.

A replica version of the Turnover Chain was on the sidelines. Palm Beach Gardens safety and Miami signee Gurvan Hall was awfully close to intercepting a pass in the second quarter that would’ve earned him the chain on national television.

St. Thomas Aquinas receiver Elijah Moore, an Ole Miss signee, was big in the return game. One kickoff return was brought back to about midfield. Fellow Raiders Bonitto and Al Blades Jr., a UM signee, were in on tackles while FSU signee Asante Samuel Jr. had good coverage on a pass intended for his receiver.
