Sweepstakes prize: Dinner with Trump

Now’s the chance for you and a friend to win a private dinner to celebrate President Donald Trump’s first year in office.

The president’s 2020 campaign is holding a sweepstakes, and the prize is a private dinner Jan. 20 with Trump in Palm Beach to mark the oneyear anniversary of Trump’s inauguration, according to an online entry form.

Promotional materials don’t specify where the dinner will be, but Trump campaign executive director Michael Glassner told the website Politico it will be at Mar-a-Lago.

While Trump’s campaign sent out emails asking for donations — even a dollar — related to the sweepstakes, the fine print indicates no purchase is necessary to enter.

The winner and a guest will get plane tickets, a night in a hotel and two tickets to the Trump Victory Dinner. The prize is valued at about $3,000, according to the sweepstakes’ rules.

The Trump Make America Great Again Committee will accept entries through 11:59 p.m. Wednesday.

The entry form indicates Trump will be at Mara-Lago for two consecutive weekends this month. He’s already planning to be at Mar-a-Lago today through Monday, according to an advisory from the Federal Aviation Administration.

Mar-a-Lago will hold another event Thursday to celebrate Trump’s first year, which will feature Fox News’ Judge Jeanine Pirro.
