Ultimate Software has been ranked No. 1 on Fortune magazine’s “Best Workplaces in Technology” list for 2018. It is the third consecutive year it has topped the list.

The Weston-based company, which employs 1,700 people in South Florida, develops software for human resources, including payroll, time and labor management. In December, the company also was named in the top 10 of Glassdoor’s “Best Places to Work.”

“Our employees believe in always doing the right thing, and they consistently put others above themselves,” she said. That has resulted in a workplace that respects individuality, runs on trust and collaboration, empowers productivity and enables career success, Maza said.

Following Ultimate Software on the list are: California-based Workday and Salesforce, Missouri-based World Wide Technology, and Pennyslvania-based SAP America.

The only other Florida company on the list is KnowBe4, a Clearwater software company ranked
