Country stars light up summer concert schedule
Kenny Chesney, Luke Bryan, Dierks Bentley, Miranda Lambert, Rascal Flatts, Darius Rucker, Little Big Town, Alan Jackson and Lady Antebellum are among the country stars scheduled to perform at Coral Sky Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach this summer as part of Live Nation’s Country Megaticket series.
Ticket packages for the series begin at $199 and are scheduled to go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at all Ticketmaster outlets, including Ticketmaster.com and by calling 800-745-3000.
A presale for those who have purchased Megatickets in previous years began Monday at LiveNation.com. Other presales, including via the Live Nation app, begin at 10 a.m. today. Ticket buyers are limited to eight tickets per person. For information, visit LiveNation.com.
The lineup for the Country Megaticket series is a strong addition to South Florida’s live-music schedule this summer, with high-voltage stars joined by such up-andcomers as Old Dominion, the Brothers Osbourne, LANCO and Carly Pearce.
The performance schedule is: Alan Jackson, May 12; Kenny Chesney with Old Dominion, May 24; Luke Bryan with Jon Pardi and Morgan Wallen, June 21; Rascal Flatts with Dan+Shay and Carly Pearce, July 21; Miranda Lambert with Little Big Town, Aug. 4; Dierks Bentley with the Brothers Osborne and LANCO, Sept. 14; Lady Antebellum with Darius Rucker and Russell Dickerson, Sept. 29.
Ticket alert: Pop star Britney Spears is bringing her “Britney: Piece of Me” show to the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood for a threenight run at the resort’s Hard Rock Event Center July 27-29.
Reserved-seat tickets cost $330, $255, $180 and $105 and will be available at 10 a.m. Friday at MyHRL.com and all Ticketmaster outlets, including Ticketmaster.com and by calling 800-745-3000. A presale through the Hard Rock’s Facebook page (Facebook.com/SeminoleHardRockHollywood) and Twitter page (Twitter.com/HardRockHolly) will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday.
The tour follows Spears’ long-running residency at the AXIS at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, where the singer has done more than 250 shows since 2013, with frequent sellouts grossing more than $140 million.
Spears is a multiplatinum-selling, Grammywinning entertainer who has sold nearly 150 million records worldwide since her debut single, “… Baby One More Time,” released when she was 16.
