The Pegasus World Cup horse-racing event at Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach today will include a Liv nightclub pop-up music venue with performances by chart-topping rapper Post Malone, of “Rockstar” fame, along with Ludacris, DZA, Miami’s own Spam Allstars and others.

Created by Liv’s David Grutman, the pop-up will re-create his signature vibe, along with food, drink and viewing access to the races, including the $16 million Pegasus World Cup, which has drawn international attention and a field of the top horses in the world vying for a $7 million first-place prize.

The Pegasus World Cup made its debut at Gulfstream Park in 2017. The featured race will be broadcast live on NBC at 4:30 p.m.

Grutman also is responsible for South Florida hot spots, including Story nightclub, the Brickell lounge and eatery Komodo, OTL café in the Design District and the plant-based restaurant Planta in Miami Beach. Each restaurant will provide “gourmet tastings” during the event.

Pop Up Liv Boardwalk Village at Pegasus World Cup opens at 2 p.m., with music beginning after the final race at 5:45 p.m. Post Malone is scheduled to perform at 9 p.m.

Tickets cost $75 (general admission), $95 (GA plus parking), $115 (GA and food) and $135 (GA, food, parking). They can be purchased at LivNightclub.com/LivVillage. For bottle service and table reservations, call 305-674-4680 or email VIP@LivNightclub.com.
