A sure sign baseball is just about here: Miami Marlins single-game tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday.

That coincides with the team’s annual FanFest, which runs from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at Marlins Park. Tickets can be purchased at the stadium or on marlins.com.

The Marlins have not released single-game ticket prices yet. Those will be available Saturday, a team spokesman said.

At FanFest, entry and parking is free. The first 1,000 fans get a voucher for a free hot dog. Among the FanFest highlights: a chance to play catch on the field and an alumni home run derby.

Cliff Floyd, Charles Johnson, Todd Hollandsworth and Gaby Sanchez are the former Marlins participating in the derby.

For more information on FanFest, including a Marlins Park map noting which activities will be where, visit marlins.com/fanfest.

As for the tickets sales, although on-field results are expected to be rough for the Marlins in 2018, there are several highlights on the home schedule. Among them: Opening Day and three more games against the Cubs (March 29-April 1), two games against the Red Sox (April 2-3), the Marlins’ 25th Anniversary Weekend Celebration (June 8-10 vs. the Padres) and a visit from the Yankees (Aug. 21-22).

The Yankees series will, of course, mark Giancarlo Stanton’s return to South Florida. Christian Yelich is set to do the same with the Brewers on July 9-11, and Marcell Ozuna will visit with the Cardinals on Aug. 6-8.
