In lieu of gifts and individual notes, the school requests you send a laminated banner with your positive message to be displayed on campus for the staff, students and community. Drop-off locations are the Parkland Library, 6620 N. University Drive and the guard gate at Watercrest, 8401 Watercrest Circle, Parkland.

Care Packages for MSD Students:. Island Water Sports wants to provide a backpack for every student filled with practical items. Skate night donations: Skate nights are planned to get students out and talking. Push for Good, Island Water Sports, Vans and Boards for Bros will host the first event on Thursday, March 1 from 7-9 p.m. at Tamarac Skatepark, 9901 NW 77 St., Tamarac.

Donate art supplies like markers and spray paint, hot dogs, hamburgers, buns, condiments, drinks and volunteers to help. Email toni@islandwate­rsports.com.

Blood and school supplies drive. Caribbean fusion restaurant Tropical Krave will partner with local blood collection organizati­on OneBlood on Sunday, March 4 from noon-5 p.m. at 222 Commercial Blvd., Lauderdale-by-theSea Those who cannot donate blood are encouraged to donate school supplies because many MSD students lost their belongings. Needed are backpacks, binders, phone chargers and earphones. Contributo­rs 21 and older will receive a compliment­ary craft beer, and underage donors will receive a milkshake. Blood donors receive a free movie ticket courtesy of One Blood and Fandango. OneBlood will provide refreshmen­ts for donors. Buy a T-shirt. The Parkland PTA/PTO has organized a fundraiser selling T-shirts online. Proceeds will go to the victims' families, first responders and the Stoneman Douglas High School Memorial Fund. Call 833-472-7552.

Send students to Washington . A GoFundMe account has been set up for Marjory Stoneman Douglas students to fly to the nation’s capital to speak with the Senate about having a hearing on gun control.

Give from the heart. The Broward Health Foundation is looking to benefit individual­s and families affected by the shooting. The nonprofit fundraisin­g arm of Broward Health is launching a public version of its "Give from the Heart" campaign and reaching out to current contributo­rs to the foundation and its community partners. All money raised will be combined with the results of an employee giving campaign. Concert for Douglas. A benefit hosted by Spanish River Christian School at Spanish River Church at 2400 Yamato Road, Boca Raton. This is in partnershi­p with Mayor Susan Haynie and the City of Boca Raton.Performanc­es by the Young Artists of South Florida, choral groups from Spanish River Community High School, Boca Raton Community High School and Westminste­r Academy on Saturday, March 10 from 7-9 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance for general admission; $30 for VIP seating; and $20 at the door. Walk for Solidarity. Students and teachers from South Florida schools will walk hand-inhand from North Community Park, 5601 Coral Springs Drive, Coral Springs, on Saturday, March 10 from 3-5 p.m. to Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, in a show of solidarity for the victims of the attack on MSD and an outcry for change. Teachers, students and parents are encouraged to wear their own school’s uniform or colors to show the unity across student communitie­s throughout the area and to let the country know that not only MSD students, but students and teachers across the nation, are demanding school safety. This event was organized by several Stoneman Douglas students and students from other schools in Broward and West Palm Beach counties. There will be speakers following completion of the walk.

Eat for cause. The Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School track and field team plans to have a School Spirit Tastes Great Fundraiser for the team and to honor athletic directors Chris Hixon and Aaron Feis. It will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Sunday, March 18 at Chipotle Mexican Grill, 4600 N. University Drive, Coral Springs. Call 954-326-6678.

Walk for a cause. The Bobby Resciniti Healing Hearts Foundation offers free help to parents during the who suffer the loss of a child, siblings and other types of losses. The Foundation plans a Healing Hearts Angel Walk on Sunday, April 22 at Quiet Waters Park, 401 S. Powerline Road in Deerfield. Registrati­on begins at 11 a.m. and the walk at 1 p.m.

Benefit concert. AEG Presents, in partnershi­p with Entercom Radio Group and the city of Pompano Beach, will host “#ParklandSt­rong, A Benefit for the Victims of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas School Shooting” on Wednesday, May 16 at The Pompano Beach Amphitheat­er, 1806 NE Sixth St., Pompano Beach. All of the proceeds — including ticket sales, concession­s, merchandis­e and sponsorshi­ps — will be donated to the official Broward Education Foundation Stoneman Douglas Fund. The concert will feature New Found Glory; Chris Carrabba of Dashboard Confession­al and Ryan Key. Cost is $25. In memory of Jaime Guttenberg. An organizati­on is being formed by the family called Orange Ribbons for Jaime that will address school safety issues. The funds raised via GoFundMe.com will help in that effort.

Nicholas Paul Dworet official donation page. The family has set up a donation page through Serenity Memorial Chapels for TS Aquatics, which is starting a foundation in Nicholas’ name called “Swim For Nick” #Swim4Nick. He was captain of his high school’s swim team.
