Tuesday’s game: In a 4-4 tie with the Cardinals, the Marlins didn’t get a hit until the fourth inning when top outfield prospect Lewis Brinson launched a monstrous two-run home run to the left of the Marlins building against Jack Flaherty with two outs in the fourth inning. It cleared a lower building and came to rest on grass near the parking lot. Only Giancarlo Stanton has hit comparable shots in recent years. “First one in a Marlins uni, that felt good,” Brinson said. “He was tough. Flaherty has got good stuff and he had it working today. Was just trying to look for something up in the zone and take a good swing at it.” ... Top pitching prospect Sandy Alcantara, facing his former team in his third spring outing, hit two Cardinals and also walked two. But he didn’t allow a hit or run in three innings, lowering his spring ERA to 1.13 . ...
