Stormy Daniels to appear at South Florida strip club this weekend, auctioning dress
Porn star Stormy Daniels will be at Solid Gold Fort Lauderdale this weekend to auction a dress that she claims she wore during her alleged 2006 affair with President Donald Trump, according to an advertisement from the strip club
The auction, called “Say Yes To The Dress” on the club’s Facebook page, takes place Friday and Saturday when Daniels is scheduled to be at Solid Gold (1350 SW 2nd Street in Pompano Beach).
“This is Stormy Daniels first public appearance since filing a lawsuit against the President regarding the alleged affair,” reads the Facebook post, which also says portions of proceeds from the event will go to the #MeToo movement. “Stormy no longer wishes to remain silent , and in association with SOLID GOLD, will be auctioning off the alleged dress live on stage worn during their supposed encounter.”
The adult star, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, filed a suit against Trump on Tuesday in Los Angeles County Superior Court in an attempt to nullify a nondisclosure deal with Trump attorney Michael Cohen days before Trump’s 2016 presidential victory.
The lawsuit states that: “Mr. Trump, with the assistance of his attorney, Mr. Cohen, aggressively sought to silence Ms. Clifford as part of an effort to avoid her telling the truth, thus helping to ensure he won the presidential election.”
Daniels is also scheduled to perform four shows at Ultra Gentleman’s Club in West Palm Beach, not far from Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort, on April 13 and 14. Those appearances are part of her “Make America Horny Again” strip club tour. Solid Gold, a strip club with decades of South Florida history, has undergone a $10 million renovation after moving to its current location in Pompano Beach last year.
The club relocated after losing a legal battle against city ordinances regulating strip clubs in Oakland Park, where it had operated for decades.
