The couple behind the 3-year-old Aioli has introduced a second location in the former Palm Beach Café.

“We’re hoping to reach the clientele that we’ve established in the south end while they are at work,” says Melanie Hackman, whose husband, Michael, is the chef. “Our fresh-baked bread and pastries will be prepared in the original south-end location and delivered daily to the downtown location.”

Highlights are bacon, egg and cheddar buttermilk biscuit ($6), quiche of the day ($9.50), turkey and brie on walnut raisin bread ($10.75) and roasted pear and gorgonzola salad ($10.75). Loaves of bread include ciabatta, sourdough, seven grain and focaccia ($2-$12).

Sweet treats feature carrot cake and Key lime tart (both $7). “For pastries, we bake a killer chocolate bobka and an incredible kouign-amann (both $4),” Hackman says.

Nitro cold brew ($6), wine and local beers ($5-$6) are on tap.

“The space has an industrial chic decor with 20-foot exposed ceilings highlighting the architecture from the ’20s,” she says. “The Harvey building is on the historic register. It was the first high-rise in West Palm Beach, and we’re excited to be a part of its legacy.”

Hours are from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. weekdays.
