KID Duck Fest Derby, noon-3 p.m. today. Flock to Esplanade Park in Fort Lauderdale, 400 SW Second St., for a KID Fun Zone, including bounce houses, petting zoo, face painting, sports games, characters and food. Kids who compete in every Olympic event will receive a chance to win a raffle prize. At 2 p.m., join the crowd as they cheer on the 30,000 rubber ducks floating down the New River to the finish line.
