Cruise CEO, construction firm founder and real estate developer to be honored
Three South Florida business leaders will receive the Huizenga Business School’s highest honor.
Three South Florida business leaders will be inducted into Nova Southeastern University’s Business and Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame, the Huizenga business school’s highest honor.
The 2018 honorees are Celebrity Cruises CEO Lisa Lutoff-Perlo, Moss & Associates construction firm founder and chairman Bob Moss and Related Cos. real estate development company founder and chairman Stephen M. Ross.
“The honorees are accomplished leaders in varied industries, ranging from travel and hospitality, real estate development, and construction, who have had influence and impact on our community,” said J. Preston Jones, dean of Nova Southeastern University’s H. Wayne Huizenga College of Business & Entrepreneurship.
The honorees will be presented their awards during a ceremony at 6 p.m. April 20 in NSU’s Rick Case Arena at the Don Taft University Center in Davie.
Lutoff-Perlo has been president and CEO of Miami-based Celebrity Cruises since 2014 and has “led cutting-edge innovations to develop and launch multiple, next-generation cruise ships including the Solstice Class and highly anticipated and heralded upcoming Edge Class,” NSU said.
Moss founded Moss & Associates in 2004 in Fort Lauderdale. Having started with two projects and two employees, Moss today has more than 500 employees who have overseen a diverse portfolio of projects including rail stations, cruise terminals and airports. The construction firm’s hallmark projects include Marlins Park in Miami and NSU’s Guy Harvey Oceanographic Center.
Ross’ the Related Cos. operates on three continents and has more than $50 billion in assets owned or under development including New York’s Hudson Yards. It also owns Equinox Fitness Clubs, Equinox Hotels and SoulCycle. Ross is owner of the Miami Dolphins football franchise.
