Ice Cube will add some old-school rap legitimacy to the 2018 lineup at SunFest, which rolls out May 3-6 on the West Palm Beach waterfront.

The rapper and actor, who was the muscle for Rock and Roll Hall of Famers N.W.A. back when rap acts required muscle, will perform at 4:45 p.m. May 5.

Advance general-admission tickets cost $43 for a one-day pass, $65 for a two-day pass and $81 for a four-day pass through April 28 at SunFest.com. Prices at the gate will be $47, $72 and $92. Youth passes (ages 6-12) purchased through April 28 will cost $20/$25/$35. Daily tickets for those 65 and older cost $25.

VIP passes also are available, as are tickets for the Stand, a reserved viewing area in front of each stage for select acts. Prices vary by the act, ranging from $25 to $40.

Ice Cube joins Pitbull, Logic, Zedd, Rae Sremmurd, Nick Jonas, DNCE, Toots and the Maytals, Living Colour, Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats, Incubus, Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real, PartyNextDoor, the O’My’s, Billy Idol, 311, Sublime With Rome, Girl Talk, Soja, Cake, Third Eye Blind, GroupLove, Samantha Harvey, Liz Brasher, Sleepwalkers, Sir Sly, RDGLDGRN, Lovely the Band, the Ries Brothers and the Sh-Booms.

Due to a scheduling conflict, KC and the Sunshine Band are no longer part of the lineup.
