The annual Las Olas Wine and Food Festival on April 20 will feature what organizers call “five blocks of sips and samples” in downtown Fort Lauderdale, with more than 50 South Florida restaurants and dozens of national wineries slated to participate.

The festival will run from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. on East Las Olas Boulevard, from Southeast Sixth to Southeast 11th avenues. Tickets cost $150 and are available at LasOlasWFF.com. The event, which benefits the American Lung Association, will take place rain or shine and is age restricted to those 21 or older.

Organizers say this year’s event will have a neighborhood feel, with restaurants grouped by location in pavilions, including Las Olas/ Downtown, Fort Lauderdale beach, northern Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood, Pompano Beach and Wilton Manors. A crowd of 2,500 is expected.

Restaurants scheduled to take part include American Social, B Ocean Resort, BAO Bar & Asian Kitchen, Beehive Kitchen, Benihana, Big City Tavern, Boatyard, BurgerFi, Etaru, Ethos, 15th Street Fisheries, Funky Buddha Brewery, Giardino Gourmet Salads, Gran Forno, Hard Rock Cafe, Ilios, Indigo, JWB Prime Steak & Seafood, Kuro, Lona Cocina, Louie Bossi’s, Mango’s on Las Olas, Morton’s The Steakhouse, Papa’s Raw Bar, Pincho Factory, Pizza City Las Olas, Red the Steakhouse, Rhythm & Vine, Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Sette Bello, Spatch Peri Peri Chicken, Spa Juice Bar, Stache, SuViche, Tarpon River Cafe, the Pastrami Joint, Truluck’s, Wild Sea Oyster Bar and Yolo.
