After three local products went in the first round on Thursday night, four more were taken the rest of the way in the NFL draft.

It started late Friday night when Village Academy wide receiver and UCF standout Tre’Quan Smith was drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the third round with the 91st pick.

The 6-foot-2 junior hauled in 59 receptions for 1,171 yards and 13 touchdowns this past season for the undefeated Knights. Smith will be the second Palm Beach County wide receiver on the Saints roster, joining former Dwyer standout Tommylee Lewis.

Cardinal Gibbons and Miami defensive tackle RJ McIntosh became the first Chief to be drafted since the Minnesota Vikings took Blair Walsh in the sixth round of the 2012 draft, according to athletic director Mike Morrill, when the New York Giants used a fifth-round pick to add him to their roster. He was the 139th pick in the draft.

McIntosh was a secondteam All-ACC selection last season after notching 52 tackles last season, including 12.5 for loss. Those tackles for loss tied him for the team lead with Chad Thomas, drafted Friday. He also had 2.5 sacks, a fumble recovery and broke up seven passes.

Mike White became the second Broward quarterback in three drafts to go through Western Kentucky to hear his name called. The former University School signal caller went to the Dallas Cowboys in the fifth round at No. 171.

Former North Broward Prep standout Brandon Doughty went through WKU in 2016 and was picked up by the Miami Dolphins.

White transferred to the Hilltoppers from USF and started after Doughty left the program. In 2016, he threw for 4,363 yards, 37 touchdowns to seven interceptions and completed 67.3 percent of his passes.

James Looney, a former Lake Worth standout and Cal defensive end, was selected by the Green Bay Packers in the seventh round at pick No. 232.

Looney is the younger brother of Cowboys offensive lineman Joe Looney, who also played for the Trojans but came out of Wake Forest.

On Thursday night, Monarch and Alabama wide receiver Calvin Ridley went to the Atlanta Falcons with the 26th pick, American Heritage and Georgia running back Sony Michel to the New England Patriots at No. 31, and Boynton Beach and Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson with the following selection, the final one of the first round.
