An Ohio man is accused of traveling to South Florida in order to smoke marijuana with President Donald Trump.

On April 20, Tyler Jon Marrone, 27, of Columbus, Ohio, headed to Palm Beach International Airport with the intention of meeting with Trump and “smoking a joint with him” at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, according to a Palm Beach County Sheriff ’s Office arrest report.

The day that Marrone arrived in South Florida, Trump was hosting Japanese president Shinzo Abe at his Mar-a-Lago estate.

Marrone was flagged at the airport by U.S. Secret Service agents because of comments he made about Trump, according to the arrest report.

Marrone told investigators he found a credit card that he believed was a gift from God so “I bought myself a plane ticket to Florida to go see the President,” the report said.

The arresting deputy wrote that Marrone “had full intentions of driving to Mar-a-Lago and walking onto the property” to talk with Trump about the voices he hears in his head and coming from his basement.

When deputies reached out to Marrone’s mother, she told them he suffers from depression and paranoia.

At the airport he was found carrying methamphetamines and said he also had “self-prescribed Adderall in his bag.

Marrone was later hospitalized for a medical evaluation.
