NFL: Niners LB Reuben Foster pleaded not guilty to charges stemming from allegation­s that he attacked his thengirlfr­iend in their home in February. The Florida Panthers will host a hockey clinic for visually impaired children from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the BB&T Center.

The event, in conjunctio­n with Lighthouse of Broward, will be for the organizati­on’s kids ages 8 to 18. It will include an audio tour of the BB&T Center and a clinic using specially tailored floorball equipment.

In January, the team hosted 13-year-old Sydney Delcontivo for a day; she toured the arena and met Panthers players and coaches. The Panthers also donated $25,000 to Lighthouse of Broward.

According to the team, the money will be used to build a sensory garden that will help with orientatio­n and mobility training, plus health and education programmin­g.
