For one week in late July, Hard Rock Stadium will be ground zero for the International Champions Cup, a worldwide soccer tour featuring some of the most elite European clubs.

After previously announcing that Manchester City will face Bayern Munich and Real Madrid will play Manchester United in Miami Gardens that week, on Thursday it was revealed that Hard Rock Stadium also will welcome the first ever International Champions Cup Women’s Tournament.

France’s top two women’s teams, Olympique Lyonnais and Paris Saint-Germain, will be joined by UEFA Women’s Champions League semifinalists Manchester City and the North Carolina Courage, who lead the National Women’s Soccer League in points this season. The women’s matches will open the week of soccer festivities starting on July 26.

“With three of Europe’s top teams, alongside a top NWSL team, this inaugural year will build, just as International Champions Cup has grown over the years, to become a major player in the world,” said Daniel Sillman, CEO of Relevent, the owners and operators of the International Champions Cup, via a press release . “Through this, and other upcoming initiatives, we are making a significant commitment to provide new and innovative global experiences for fans as well as athletes.”

NC Courage and Paris Saint-Germain will play July 26, followed immediately by the second women’s game between Manchester City and Olympique Lyonnais. Then, the third-place and championship games will be played back-to-back on July 29th.

Other events throughout the week —being dubbed “Miami Week” — include an event called the House of Soccer. It will feature several five-on-five matchups, including one between FC Bayern and members of the Miami Dolphins.

The involvement of women in the International Champions Cup, though, is something new altogether. In the past, only the men’s teams were involved, and each team played only one game in each city.
