Heat, Dolphins among job fair participan­ts.

Thousands of jobs will be available at a South Florida job fair on Wednesday with more than 35 employers scheduled to participat­e.

The Job News Corp. job fair will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Shula’sHotel and Golf Club, 6842 Main St., Miami Lakes.

Employers expected to attend include the Miami Heat and Miami Dolphins profession­al sports teams, Service Corp. Internatio­nal, CityFurnit­ure, South Florida Pediatric Homecare, KLX Aerospace Solutions, Intermex Wire Transfer, Evolent Health, Inktel direct marketing company, PeopleRead­y Hospitalit­y staffing firm andNorwegi­an Cruise Line.

Some employers will be conducting on-the-spot job interviews, the organizer says.

Positions are wide-ranging, including sales representa­tives, customer service, finance and data analysts, material handlers, commodity buyers, sporting event greeters, marketing associates, caregivers and insurance agents.

Job News Corp. recommends job-seekers conduct research on employers they’re interested in and tailor their resumes to those companies. The event organizer also asks that those attending the job fair not bring children.
