Stop demeaning people with whom you disagree

-

I’m writing in response to three letters published on Saturday, July 7, regarding so-called public harassment by Fort Lauderdale Mayor Dean Trantalis, Congresswoman Maxine Waters (D-California) and other liberals.

These letter writers strike me as typical right-wing hypocrites. They think nothing of insulting and demeaning those they don’t agree with, but the minute someone says something they don’t agree with their feelings are hurt and they lash out.

These people are the first to get into someone’s face and insult those they oppose. They speak of the need for civility, but only toward them.

President Donald Trump continuously insults and demeans anyone he disagrees with. It’s time to stop all this nonsense. Ted Bazer, Sunrise
