Optima Towers will be in Hallandale — and Aventura
Don’t tell this developer he can’t be in two places at once.
His new 28-story tower, the Optima Onyx, under construction in Hallandale Beach will connect to two sister office buildings in neighboring Aventura.
Collectively known as the Optima Towers, the two projects in Broward and Miami-Dade counties will be linked by an existing eightstory parking garage. The parking garage, now in Aventura, will also be extended into Hallandale Beach.
Aventura’s nine-story Optima White Tower and four-story Optima Red Tower are connected to each other by the parking garage.
“We’re trying to connect the counties with great spaces,” said developer Ariel Bromberg, of Optima International and Optima International North.
The garage now has a “green roof ” with amenities for office tenants such as a spa, fitness room and walking trail. Bromberg said the garage roof will be expanded to include a pool and space for resting alongside a juice bar.
More parking also will be made available: The Optima Onyx will include parking on the first nine floors.
Its two sister buildings in Aventura were built in 2013 for “highend” office space with tenants such as financial institutions and law firms, Bromberg said. The Red Tower has medical offices as well.
He estimated that construction on the Broward side will be completed by the end of 2019.
