Wellington’s Mark-Antony Richards is one of South Florida’s most sought-after senior athletes.

He’s narrowed down his choices to five schools — Auburn, Florida, Miami, Penn State and Tennessee, and now he’s taking his visits to see where he fits in best. “It’s going very well,” Richards said.

The senior athlete, who led the Wolverines to a comeback victory over district rival Seminole Ridge on Friday, said he will attend the Florida State-Miami game this Saturday. He also has plans to visit Auburn when the Tigers play Texas A&M on Nov. 3 and Penn State when the Nittany Lions take on Iowa on Oct. 27. He is still trying to figure out out the best week to visit Florida and Tennessee.

“Obviously, some are going to change eventually due to my parents’ work schedule,” he said, “but we’ll get it done, for sure.”

Richards is a four-star prospect and ranked No. 137 overall in the 2019 class by 247Sports. He was a Super 11 pick and a first-team All-County selection. He is also the No. 2 player in the 2019 class in Palm Beach County.

Boateng narrowing down his choices: Fort Lauderdale offensive lineman Kaleb Boateng is focusing on two schools: Cincinnati and Maryland.

Boateng, a three-star recruit and the No. 83 offensive tackle in the 2019 class, plans to take an official visit to Maryland in two weeks.

“I really want to see that the [Maryland] program is still flowing well and that they have a family atmosphere even after all that happened with Jordan McNair,” he said.

McNair died from heat stroke in June, two weeks after he suffered a seizure during a team workout, according to ESPN. Maryland coach D.J. Durkin has been on administrative leave since August as investigators prepare a report about the team’s culture, according to the Washington Post.

“I am not going to really ask the staff too much about the topic,” Boateng said. “I would rather see how they have recovered as a program and how the players feel.”

Boatengsaid he also plans to take a visit to Cincinnati after the season ends.
