Atlantic continued its dominance over Palm Beach County teams and sits atop the Palm Beach County high school football top 10 after a 38-6 win over Lake Worth. The Eagles have been the county’s No. 1 squad since Week 2, after their win over previous No. 1 Dwyer. Atlantic has outscored its opponents 272-54 this season.

Here is a look at the South Florida Sun Sentinel’s picks for the top teams in Palm Beach County. All games are at 6 p.m. Friday unless noted.

1. (1) ATLANTIC (8-0)

The Eagles are on a roll and play Boca Raton this week in a District 10-8A contest. Atlantic has two shutouts and has allowed just three scores in its past five games. Next: vs. Boca Raton.

2. (2) DWYER (8-1)

The Panthers won their seventh consecutiv­e game with a 48-0 victory over Royal Palm Beach. Dwyer has scored 40 or more points in all of its victories. Dwyer should roll past the Bulls (1-7), who are averaging 5.6 points per game. Next: at West Boca Raton.

3. (3) PALM BEACH CENTRAL (7-1)

The Broncos won their seventh game in a row with a comfortabl­e 42-0 victory over Jupiter. Senior kicker Tanner Nairn has connected on 5 of 6 field goalsNext: at Palm Beach Gardens.

4. (4) PAHOKEE (5-3)

Pahokee’s three-game winning streak was ended with a 21-20 loss on the road to Seminole Ridge. The Blue Devils had the extra point blocked with less than a minute remaining. Pahokee faces a Tigers team that has won four in a row. Next: vs. Cocoa.

5. (5) CARDINAL NEWMAN (7-1)

Cardinal Newman has scored 41 or more points in four consecutiv­e games, and the Crusaders got another strong performanc­e from Chris D’Or who ran for 96 yards and a TD and added an electrifyi­ng 64-yard TD reception. Next: vs. Glades Central, 7:30 p.m.

6. (6) BENJAMIN (9-0)

The Buccaneers remained unbeaten with a 44-0 victory over Saint Andrew’s and have outscored opponents 320-73. Benjamin is 2-10 in the past 12 meetings against King’s Academy but did win last year’s contest 33-21. Next: at King’s Academy, 7 p.m.

7. (7) FOREST HILL (7-1)

The Falcons got back on track with a key District 13-7A victory over Olympic Heights and hope to stay in the district picture when they face a hot Palm Beach Lakes squad. Next: vs. Palm Beach Lakes

8. (8) PALM BEACH LAKES (5-3)

The Rams rolled past West Boca 42-0 for their fourth consecutiv­e victory. Palm Beach Lakes has pitched two shutouts and allowed just one score in its past three games. Next: at Forest Hill

9. (9) WELLINGTON (6-3)

Wellington has won five of its past six games. The Wolverines’ three losses have come at the hands of state-ranked Vero Beach, Palm Beach Central and Dwyer. Next: Bye

10. (NR) SEMINOLE RIDGE (5-3)

The Hawks find themselves back in the top 10 after a 21-20 victory over No. 4 Pahokee at home. Seminole Ridge takes on a reeling Jupiter team (2-6) that has lost four in a row. Next: vs. Jupiter.
