Keke’s serves up a fresh take on breakfast fare
The new Keke’s Breakfast Café in Boca Raton offers eight types of pancakes.

This 12-year-old statewide chain based in Orlando has introduced its third South Florida location, joining Boynton Beach and Wellington.
“We’re big with the younger crowd, especially with college students and families,” district manager John Harte says. “Everything is made fresh to order, so all the fruit is cut every morning. We pay attention to detail, such as cleanliness and food quality.”
Breakfast highlights include an apple-cinnamon waffle ($7.49), blueberry-stuffed French toast with cream cheese ($8.49), eggs Benedict ($10.49) and a cheesesteak omelet ($11.49). Lunch offers a vegetable wrap ($5.99); portobello panini with roasted red pepper, pesto and provolone ($8.49); Southwest turkey club ($10.49) and the Carolina chicken with bacon and honey-mustard dressing as a salad ($9.99) or wrap ($10.99).
There’s no dessert section on the menu, but banana-chocolate chip pancakes ($8.49) and turtle-stuffed French toast with chocolate, caramel, cream cheese and pecans ($9.99) should suffice.
The café incorporates earth tones, attractive porcelain floor tile, ceramic palm frond-shaped fans and a glass-enclosed kitchen.
Large, colorful paintings of food contrast lightbrown walls, while glass dividers separate booths with granite tables.
“It’s a more intimate experience with all the booths instead of open tables,” Harte says. “It’s a warm, comfortable feeling. And you don’t hear the clanking of plates and utensils like in other breakfast places.”
Daily hours are from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
