With less than two months until the early signing period, Chaminade-Madonna star wide receiver and Penn State commit John Dunmore has his mind made up.

“I’m pretty much solid,” Dunmore said. “I’ll be signing in December. So I’m pretty much solid with that.”

Dunmore, the South Florida Sun Sentinel’s No. 2 senior prospect in Broward County, has been committed to the

Nittany Lions since July 4, and he chose them over Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Michigan and Ohio State.

Dunmore visited Penn State for its “White Out” game against Ohio State on Sept. 29 and said he plans to visit again when the Nittany Lions play Wisconsin on

Saturday.

“It’s a big rivalry,” he said. “Can’t wait to see it.”

Dunmore has developed a close relationship with Penn State running backs coach JaJuan Seider. They first met when Seider coached at West Virginia. When Seider joined the Florida Gators’ coaching staff, Dunmore committed to the Gators.

He decommitted and picked Penn State about seven months after Seider moved to Penn State.

“[Seider is] like a big brother,” Dunmore said. “We’re pretty close. We’ve been tight since freshman year when he was at West Virginia.”

Carter announces decision date, top two: St. Thomas Aquinas star running back Daniel Carter has narrowed down his college choices and picked a commitment date.

The 2019 prospect announced on his Twitter account Saturday that he will decide Dec. 1 between Kansas State and Pittsburgh.
