What is Road?

Two retail properties are for sale on the trendy 10-block shopping location in Miami Beach.

A building anchored by Ross Dress For Less is sandwiched between the properties, which is between Collins and Washington avenues. This is an open bid sale.

The properties are at: 222 Lincoln Road , a vacant, 8,000-square-foot, two-story retail building.

Residents and tourists have been drawn to the milelong walkway, between 16th and 17th streets, for the variety of stores and outdoor activities, including farmers markets and morning yoga.

The stretch ranked among the most expensive retail districts in the Western Hemisphere, according to Cushman & Wakefield’s “Main Streets Across the World” retail reports in 2017 and 2018. Rents averaged $250 a square foot per year in 2018, according to the real estate services firm.

Other stores on Lincoln Road include Beach Bunny Swimwear, Zara, Forever 21 and Skechers.

“Foot traffic in the immediate area is expected to increase even more over the coming years with the completion of the Miami Beach Convention Center renovation and the addition of multiple new hotels,” said Kirk Olson, senior director of Institutio­nal Property Advisors, which is representi­ng the seller.

Lincoln Road was completely closed to traffic in the 1950s and redesigned by Morris Lapidus, who is best known for projects such as the Fontainebl­eau Miami Beach, Eden Roc Miami Beach hotel and Deauville Beach Resort. Two retail properties are sale on the trendy Lincoln Road strip
