Hurricane Dockside Grill storms into Boynton Beach
Hurricane Dockside Grill
This national chain based in West Palm Beach has converted its Hurricane Grill and Wings after a two-year hiatus into a seafood-centric concept with tropical drinks and Sunday brunch.
“We have delicious fish options on top of our regular Hurricane Grill and Wings menu,” says John Metz, franchise owner and president of Hurricane Wings Management. “We want our guests to think of Hurricane Dockside Grill as more of a dinner house, a place for family dinner and/or date night as well as watching the game with friends.”
This third Dockside location offers coconutencrusted fried shrimp ($8.99), tomato-basil swordfish ($16.99), bourbon-barbecue salmon ($17.99), macadamiacrusted mahi-mahi ($17.99) and crab cake-topped snapper ($18.99).
Desserts include sea-salt caramel cheesecake and Key lime pie ($5.99).
In addition to mojitos and mai tais ($7.99), there are eight frozen cocktails ($7.99-$8.99) on the menu, including daiquiris and pina coladas.
Sunday brunch features bottomless mimosas and Bloody Marys ($10). “We are excited to offer upscale options like Benedicts ($9-$12], an omelet station [$8-$11] and French toast [$9-$10],” Metz says.
Lunch and dinner are served daily amid the new ocean-themed décor, featuring Bahamian colors, surfboards, wood booths with teal cushions and whitewashed clapboards. A bar stretches across a patio with TVs, which is located adjacent to a courtyard fountain. Musicians entertain from Friday through Sunday nights.
Metz will also convert locations in Jupiter and Wellington into Hurricane Dockside Grills.
