Hollywood’s Muse Rooftop Bar adds light bites menu
The Muse Rooftop Bar & Lounge in Hollywood has launched food to accompany its sweeping skyline views from the 12th floor. bites,” says Kara Lundgren, the hotel’s general manager. “The Muse light bites menu is to offer shareable options before dinner in Olivia or on their own for a light menu option.”
Best-sellers are vegetable spring rolls ($12), salmon carpaccio ($14.50), spicy salmon roll ($15), tuna poke tacos with sambal sauce ($16) and mochi Japanese ice cream ($8.95).
“Tuna tataki’s beautiful presentation makes it one of our most Instagramable dishes ($16),” she says.
Cocktails ($14) feature the Hollywood Star with vodka, sake and lychee, Hawk & Dove with rye and plum wine and Dolce Bubbles with vodka, raspberry liqueur, lemon and prosecco.
“The Hawk & Dove is a unique yet perfect blend of spice and sour,” Lundgren says.
The terrace, adjacent to a swimming pool, affords sweeping skyline views amid turquoise and sandcolored lounge sofas, basket weave chairs, teal umbrellas, potted palms and a faux plant wall with contrasting light- and darkgreen squares. A DJ spins Tuesday and Saturday nights, and musicians perform Friday nights.
“The Muse is definitely a local hot spot. The sunset is amazing and a great spot to watch it go down and enjoy our daily happy hour specials,” Lundgren says, referring to select half-off drinks from 4 to 6 p.m.
