Middle Easterners can only save the Middle East

Everyone should watch the movie ”A Private War” to understand the futility of our never-ending efforts to promote peace in the Middle East. They have been killing each other for thousands of years.

Despite all our well-intentioned humanitarian efforts, trillions of dollars and thousands of lives of our young men and women, Syrians and Kurds are still killing each other. People in Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Libya, and Egypt, are still killing each other.

That will never change, even if we spend another trillion dollars and a thousand lives of our brave soldiers.

Only until they realize the damage they are doing to each other and the horrible consequences on innocent women and children, will they ever accept peace with each other.

No one is going to protect us except us. We must stop the charade and determine the origin of each and every person entering the United States. There is still room for humanity, but with knowledge. We must develop technology, procedures, policies, barriers and the will to overcome concerns of privacy in order to prevent those with a desire to kill us, and there are many. The Israelis have learned to live with that. We must do the same.

It is time to leave the Middle East to Middle Easterners.
