Want more dining deals? Go west, eaters of all ages. Just when you thought the season of restaurant specials was over, along comes Coral Springs to extend the fun.

The northwestern Broward city launched its first restaurant promotion on Oct. 11 with “Savor the Springs.” More than 30 restaurants will take part through Oct. 20, offering special multicourse menus or discounts off usual items. Similar to popular summer promotions Miami Spice, Flavor Palm Beach and Greater Fort Lauderdale Restaurant Months, some Coral Springs restaurants will offer three-course meals for $25-$35, excluding tax, tip and drinks.

Participants include the Cook and the Cork, Mainland China Bistro, Fat Boyz Barbecue, Taverna Evia, John the Baker, Red Ginger Asian Bistro, 4 Rivers Smokehouse, El Mariachi, Hellenic Republic and the Melting Pot.

The event is organized by the city’s Economic Development Office and spans full-service fine dining restaurants to casual eateries such as pastry shops, ice cream parlors and pizzerias. Diners are advised to ask about the Savor the Flavor promotion when they arrive.

The Cook and the Cork will offer a three-course, $35 menu that includes appetizer options of corn chowder, arugula salad or steamed wild mushrooms, entree choices of smoked pork chop, grilled salmon, black Angus bavette or penne with vegan Bolognese. Dessert selections include vanilla panna cotta, salted caramel mousse or chocolate chip cookies.

Hellenic Republic will offer a three-course, $25 dinner including a Greek dip sampler to start, choice of roasted chicken, Greek pasta or a lamb burger and loukoumades (Greek doughnuts) for dessert.

Fat Boyz Barbecue will offer $5 off orders more than $25. Taverna Evia will offer a free glass of wine and dessert with meal purchase, or free mimosa at Sunday brunch. Mainland China Bistro will offer a free glass of wine or free scallion pancake to those who order one or two dishes from a special menu.
