Only list of Halloween parties, events adults will need this year

It’s time to scare up a little fun. Halloween-themed pop-ups and parties are starting to jump off here in South Florida.

Here’s an insider guide to some deadloving events that you need in your life. And keep checking back with this post as we plan on adding more haunted happenings as we get closer to Halloween.

Through Oct. 31. Delray Beach’s gastropub Death or Glory is riffing off their popular Christmas-themed pop-up bar with a Halloween-themed “Death or Gory” popup. . There is a special Halloween menu and cocktails. Some of those drinks will be served in Death or Gory tiki mugs, which you can take home for an extra $9.95. Death or Glory is open 4 p.m.-midnight MondaysThu­rsdays; 4 p.m.-2 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays; 11 a.m.-midnight Sundays. The bar is at 116 NE Sixth Ave., Delray Beach. 561-808-8814. Through Nov. 1: Enigma Haunt will once again bring the boo to Boca Raton. For the uninitiate­d, we’re talking two floors of terror experience­s that can take over an hour to traverse in what used to be a Bally’s Gym. The haunted houses — yeah, there are three spooky spaces — make much of South Florida legends. Enigma Haunt is at 1751 N. Military Trail, Boca Raton, and is open 7 to 10:30 p.m. Thursdays and Sundays as well as 7 to 11:45 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Tickets are $25, $30 and $45. Through Oct. 31: Sweet Liberty Drinks and Supply Company will host the “2019

Halloween Circus Freak Show” with what they are calling a freaky makeover room open with special Halloween-themed menus, competitio­ns and entertainm­ent.On Oct. 31 the “Circus Freaks” party starts at 10 p.m. with DJ Sharp Sound and hosted by SoBe party thrower Gio Profera.

Through Oct. 31: The we-never-close nightclub E11even Miami is going to be re-imagined as “Ghost Town” for a weeklong Halloween celebratio­n with acrobats, light shows and electronic dance music.. Oct. 26: The Miami Beach Edition hotel will have a screening of the movie “The

Conjuring” on the sands of the beach behind the resort starting at 7 p.m. in what the property calls the Sandbox, a tropical nook with hammocks and low-lying beds where

Oct. 26: American Icon Brewery will have a Yappy Hour Halloween Pet Costume Contest from 6-8 p.m. There will also be half-price American Icon craft beer, wines-by-the-glass and well drinks. Icon is located at 911 NE 4th Ave., Fort Lauderdale. For more informatio­n, call 954-500-4266.

Oct. 26: Veza Sur Brewing Company will have a “Triki Triki Halloween Fiesta” with local bands, DJs and a costume contest. The third annual event will go from 9 p.m.-2 a.m. at 55 NW 25th St., Miami. RSVP at Eventbrite.com.

Oct. 26 and 31: America’s Backyard will have two Y-100 FM Takeover events. Backyard is located at 100 SW 3rd Ave., Fort Lauderdale. The Saturday party starts at 9 p.m. at will be a block party. The Thursday party starts at 10 p.m. and will include a costume contest. Both end at 4 a.m. Admission for ladies is free before 11 p.m. The cover charge will range $5-$15 for both events. Oct. 26: The Wharf Miami is hosting a “Pirates of The Wharf” party featuring a pirate ship docked riverside that will serve as a VIP area, a costume contest and food trucks with Caribbean-inspired menus. Entree is free before 10 p.m. (there may be a door fee afterward) and access to the VIP area with an open-bar is $125. The Wharf is a 21-and-over space and is at 114 SW North River Dr., Miami. The party starts at noon.
