This will be Kressley’s first involvement with the SOBEWFF, which takes place Feb. 19-23, 2020. The brunch, where the crowd nibbles on dishes served at food stations while being entertained by female impersonators, will be Sunday, Feb. 23, starting at 11 a.m. at the W Fort Lauderdale.

Lee Schrager, the founder and executive director of SOBEWFF, adds that the star of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” and “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy” was quick to accept the offer to appear in Fort Lauderdale.

“We just reached out to his people, and we got one of the quickest ‘yeses’ that we’ve ever had,” Schrager said. “It was like a two-day turnaround.”

Branded as the Crave/Greater Fort Lauderdale Series by SOBEWFF, other highlights include a series of dinners hosted by celebrity chefs and foodie movie screenings (details still being worked out).
