Textbook hypocrisy

How dare Republicans say that Democrats are obsessed with impeachment and not working for the American people.

More than 200 bills passed in the Democratic-majority House have been stalled or killed in the Republican-led Senate by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, a.k.a “the grim reaper.” Textbook hypocrisy.

I urge Sen. Marco Rubio, Rep. Ross Spano and Sen. RickScott to tell their constituents again who is really trying to grab the power. They need to explain why they are defending despicable behavior like calling people who don’t do exactly what the President wants as human scum.

Defending someone unconcerned with honoring lawmakers at their funerals is a new low. The Republican Party will need to rebuild itself at some point. Will they expect to still be part of this democracy in this the future while they defended the destruction of it in current time?

Democrats won’t defend democracy in Venezuela

This is rich. Democratic Reps. Debbie Mucarsel-Powell and Donna Shalala are demanding Congress fully fund efforts to defend democracy in Venezuela. But just a few months ago, Mucarsel-Powell and Shalala voted with their party against a bipartisan motion to condemn socialism as the cause of the crisis in Venezuela. It failed by two votes. Looking at you, Donna and Debbie.

Mucarsel-Powell and are frauds and would rather vote with the socialist Democrats in Washington than condemn socialism in Venezuela.

GOP’s ‘brilliant’ tactics

You must applaud the brilliant tactics being employed by the Republican Party. They have admitted and now recognize that our President messed up terribly in the Ukraine Affair.

Instead of a mea culpa, they now attack and confuse the matter by blaming the methodology employed by the Democrats.

It’s all just smoke and mirrors to cover up an act of pure Treason.

Trump is unprepared and ill-informed in matters of foreign policy. It’s really time to “Dump Trump”.

Gail Olarsch, Boynton Beach

Trump ‘is’ our president

In response to the letter writer who wrote President Trump was “not my President,” please note, that based on our constitution and laws, Donald J Trump is our president.

You may not like him, but he is still the President and the office deserves respect, just like most of us did with President Barack Obama.

The office of the President comes with our country’s history and you cannot, no matter how hard you try, change history.

If you do not like policy, go out and change it, but stop with the “he’s not my President” because no matter how you look at it, he is the President of the United States of America, no matter if you like him or not or his policies or not.

Is anyone else out there growing tired of the disrespect of the Office of the President?
