There’s a new shopping holiday coming Thursday, and it’s going to save you money.

Retailmenot’s inaugural Cash Back Day is Nov. 7. For 24 hours, snag online deals at participating retailers and get a portion of the sale back — up to 20% — as a cash rebate.

Amazon, Macy’s, Home Depot, Overstock, CVS Photo, Hilton and Stubhub are among the hundreds of retailers on the list. The new holiday will be celebrated on the first Thursday each November, the company said in a news release.

Hey, you have to buy holiday gifts eventually, right? Why not get something out of the deal for yourself. Shopping early also means you get the best selection and save yourself the hassle of shopping in crowded stores later.

Here’s how to make your mad grab for free money:

■ Go to Retailmenot.com/ cashback.

■ Create a free account or log in if you already have one.

■ Shop and activate cashback offers through the portal.

■ Find a coupon code to save even more.

■ Make a purchase.

■ Collect your rebate. After you’re done shopping, you’ll be rewarded with a free gift card from a list of retailers or cash paid via Venmo and PayPal. Rewards will be paid out to users before the holidays.

Retailmenot, which offers more than a halfmillion retail coupons and online promo codes, always offers cash back, but the rebates will be extra special on Nov. 7.

“We are thrilled to offer consumers such a great savings opportunity this season,” Marissa Tarleton, CEO of Retailmenot, said in the release. “We have worked hand-in-hand with our trusted retail partners to bring a large number of exclusive deals to shoppers and help them save on everything they need as they prepare for the holidays.”

Retailmenot has paid consumers nearly $24.5 million through payouts, the company said.
