Quick work: Norvell locks in top-25 group
New FSU coach Mike Norvell made the most of his limited time, locking in the No. 21 recruiting class on Early Signing Day. Take a closer look at the Seminoles’ haul.

Demorie Tate, DB, 6-foot-1, 210 pounds, Orlando / Freedom High: The Seminoles’ highestrated signee, Tate is a player Mike Norvell’s staff wanted to keep after Willie Taggart’s firing. Tate is a versatile defensive back who can play either corner or safety.
Chubba Purdy, QB, 6-2, 210 Gilbert, Ariz. / Perry High: A true dual-threat quarterback, Purdy was a massive get on Wednesday for FSU. Purdy accounted for 9,000 yards and 111 touchdowns in his high school career.
Bryan Robinson, WR, 6-1, 179 West Palm Beach / Palm Beach Central: Robinson shows good hands and has a chance to develop into a solid outside receiver. He had 45 receptions for 976 yards and nine touchdowns his junior season.
Lawrance Toafili, RB, 6-0, 180 Pinellas Park / Pinellas Park High: Toafili is the No. 179 recruit in the country and one of the top tailbacks in the state. Toafili rushed 1,463 yards and 18 touchdowns this season.
Jadarius Green-McKnight, S, 6-0, 195 Fort Myers / Dunbar High: A big hitter, Green-McKnight is the 20th-rated safety
prospect in the country. He tallied 24 tackles and one interception in 2019.
