Businesses reopen with new guidelines, some game changes
The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood reopened Friday, with a new Safe and Sound program that includes strict guidelines after being closed for weeks.
After a near-three month shutdown, Broward casinos are open again for business.
Closed since March 20 to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, casinos and racetracks were given the green light by county officials to reopen on Friday.
The announcement came after Seminole Gaming announced its three Broward properties, including the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, would reopen at noon on Friday. The three Seminole Hard Rock casinos are sovereign and not subject to state business regulations.
All of the Broward casinos will operate with enhanced safety guidelines due to the coronavirus pandemic. While casinos are allowed to resume all of their gaming, some are electing to hold off on table games during the opening days of the relaunch.
Here’s a rundown of which casinos have reopened and what games they’ll be offering.
Seminole casinos

Hours: All three properties reopened at noon June 12 and will run 24 /7.
Games: All table and slots
Additional amenities: Some restaurants will reopen at all three casino complexes, with disposable menus. At the Hard Rock’s main property in Hollywood, returning restaurants include Council Oak, Hard Rock Café, Constant Grind, Rise Kitchen & Deli and Bol. The sports bar Pla will be open, as will the Oculus Bar and Center Bar.
