Florida’s coronavirus cases continue to soar, with the state reporting another 10,059 cases on Sunday.

The Florida Department of Health says 200,111 people have tested positive for the coronavirus since the pandemic began.

The state reported 29 new deaths Sunday morning.

At least 3,832 people have died from the virus in Florida, reports show. That figure includes 101 people from outside the state.

Florida saw another daily record in COVID-19 cases on Saturday, when the state reported 11,458 new cases, eclipsing Thursday’s record of 10,109 positive tests.

New York’s record day for coronavirus cases was 12,274 on April 4. Florida has not topped that — yet.

Over the course of the past several weeks, hospitalizations and deaths reported on Sundays have been on the rise in Florida.

At least 15,895 people have been hospitalized since the start of the outbreak, state records show.

Over a seven-week period from May 10 through June 21, the state reported a cumulative 58 deaths on Sundays alone. In the past two weeks alone, just counting Sundays, the state reported a total of 58 deaths.

Coronavirus-related hospitalizations have also been on the rise over the past five Sundays:

■ Sunday, June 14: 69

■ Sunday, June 21: 98

■ Sunday, June 28: 108

■ Sunday, July 5: 161

In an effort to stop the spread of the potentially fatal virus, all three South Florida counties closed their beaches for the long Fourth of July weekend.

Most cities canceled their fireworks shows. The few that did host them encouraged people to either watch from home or from their cars.

All of Miami-Dade County was under a curfew starting at 10 p.m. Friday. And on Thursday, Mayor Carlos Gimenez issued a mask mandate even for those able to social distance outside.

Broward County ordered restaurants to halt onsite dining during overnight hours and told residents to wear masks outside when they were unable to social distance.

Palm Beach County has also ordered people to wear face masks in public. They have to be worn inside when in stores and public buildings and outside only when social distancing is not possible.
