■ Cowboys 37, Giants 34: Greg Zuerlein kicked a 34-yard FG as time expired to lift the host Cowboys, who lostQBDak Prescott to what the team called “a serious right ankle injury” during the third quarter. Prescott was carted off the field and taken to a nearby hospital. ESPN reported that he was scheduled to undergo surgery Sunday night.

■ Steelers 38, Eagles 29: Rookie WR Chase Claypool scored four TDs, including the clincher with 2:59 remaining, and the host Steelers remained unbeaten. Claypool, a secondroun­d pick from Notre Dame, raced down the slot, hauled in a dart from Ben Roethlisbe­rger andwent the rest of the 35 yards to the end zone as the Steelers improved to 4-0 for the first time since 1979. Claypool finished with seven receptions for 110 yards and three scores and added a 2-yard TD run on a jet sweep. Claypool became the first Canadian-born NFL player with three receiving TDs in a game since JoeRooney did it for the Duluth Eskimos on Oct. 23, 1927. Eagles QB Carson Wentz threw for 258 yards and two TDs but was also picked off twice, both times by SteelersCB StevenNels­on.

■ Rams 30, Washington 10: Jared Goff threw for 309 yards and two TDs and ran for another, and the visiting Rams improved to 4-1. Aaron Donald had four sacks in the victory. QB Alex Smith played his first NFL game 693 days since breaking his right tibia and fibula, entering when new Washington starting QB Kyle Allen injured his left arm. Smith, 36, was 9 of 17 for 37 yards on the same field he was carted off of on Nov. 18, 2018, before undergoing 17 surgeries to repair the injury.

■ Ravens 27, Bengals 3: The Ravens sacked Joe Burrow seven times, forced the Bengals QB into a pair of turnovers and held the Bengals’ running game to just 59 yards to secure the win at home. Patrick Queen, a teammate of Burrow’s for national champion LSU last year, returned a fumble 52 yards for a fourth-quarter TD. The Ravens improved to 4-1, matching their best start in franchise history.

■ Texans 30, Jaguars 14: Deshaun Watson threw for a season359 yards and three TDs to help the Texans earn their first win of the season six days after coach/GM Bill O’Brien was fired. Interim coach Romeo Crennel at 73 became the oldest coach in NFL history, passing Hall of Famer George Halas, who was 72 in his last game with the Bears in 1967. The visiting Jaguars dropped their fourth straight.

■ Cardinals 30, Jets 10: Kyler Murray ran for a TD and threw another to DeAndreHop­kins as the Cardinals snapped a twogamelos­ing streak with the road victory. The Cardinals had 496 yards in total offense and scored TDs on drives of 96, 89, 75 and 70 yards. The Jets fell to 0-5 for the third time in team history.

■ Panthers 23, Falcons 16: Teddy Bridgewate­r threw for 313 yards and two TDs, Juston Burris made a INT in the end zone and the Panthers held on for the road win over the Falcons, who dropped to 0-5 for the first time since 1997.

■ Browns 32, Colts 23: Baker Mayfield passed for a seasonhigh 247 yards and two TDs against the NFL’s No. 1 defense, Myles Garrett forced a crucial safety in the fourth quarter and the hostBrowns­improvedto­4-1 for the first time since 1994.

■ Dolphins 43, 49ers 17: Ryan Fitzpatric­k threw for 350 yards and three TDs and theDolphin­s sent the defending NFC champion 49ers to their third straight home loss. The 49ers benched QB Jimmy Garoppolo at halftime after throwing two INTs.
