■ Chiefs 33, Panthers31: Patrick Mahomes threw for 372 yards and four TDs, Travis Kelce and Tyreek Hill each went over 100 yards receiving, and the Chiefs held on at home to after Panthers K Joey Slye missed a 67-yard FG attempt wide right on the final play. The Chiefs (8-1) were left clinging to the lead when Christian McCaffrey, just back from his ankle injury, scored from a yard out with 1:26 to go. The Panthers’ onside kick was recovered by the Chiefs, but they used their three timeouts to get the ball back, and Teddy Bridgewate­r’s 23-yard pass to Curtis Samuel with 9 seconds remaining gave them hope. McCaffrey finished with 18 carries for 69 yards and a TD while catching 10 passes for 82 yards and another score. The win was the 230th for Chiefs coach Andy Reid, breaking a tie with Hall of Fame coach Curly Lambeau for fifth most in NFL history. It was the 23rd straight game the Chiefs have scored at least 23 points, breaking their own NFL record, and Mahomes beat Hall of Famer Dan Marino’s mark for fewest games to 100 career TD passes. Mahomes did it in 40 games, Marino needed 44.

■ Ravens 24, Colts 10: Gus Edwards put the Ravens ahead for good with a 1-yard plunge in the third and Lamar Jackson added an insurance score in the fourth with a 9-yard TD run. Jackson, the reigning league MVP, matched Marino for the best 30-start mark by a QB in the Super Bowl era. Jackson is 25-5 since taking over as the Ravens starter in themiddle of the 2018 season. The Ravens set an NFL record for most consecutiv­e 20-point games with their 31st. It was the Colts’ first home loss of the season.

■ Titans 24, Bears 17: Ryan Tannehill threw two TD passes, and the banged-up Titans never trailed in snapping a two-game skid. The visiting Titans were without LB Jadeveon Clowney (knee), but CB Desmond King returned a fumble 63 yards for a TD only days after he was acquired from the Chargers for a sixth-round pick.

■ Vikings 34, Lions 20: Dalvin Cook ran for career-high 206 yards and two scores on 22 carries, leading the Vikings to the win at home. Cook has 478 yards and six TDs from scrimmage in two games since missing one with a groin injury. Vikings QB Kirk Cousins threw for three TDs — two to TE Irv Smith Jr. — in his second straight turnover-free performanc­e. Lions QB Matthew Stafford, who didn’t practice all week due to coronaviru­s exposure protocols, left the game in the fourth for concussion evaluation after taking a knee to the head during a sack. He was picked off on consecutiv­e possession­s in the third quarter.

■ Falcons 34, Broncos 27: Matt Ryan tossed three TD passes and the Falcons turned back the visiting Broncos’ bid for a second consecutiv­e comeback. The Falcons (3-6), wholed 20-3 at half, moved to 3-1 under interim coach Raheem Morris.

■ Texans 27, Jaguars 25: Deshaun Watson had TD passes of 57 and 77 yards to give the Texans their sixth straight win in the series. The Jags fell to 1-7 with their seventh loss in a row. J.J. Watt notched the 100th sack of his career in the road victory. The 31-year-old three-time defensive player of the year became the 35th NFL player to reach the centurymar­k.

■ Giants 23, Washington 20: Daniel Jones threw a TD pass and didn’t turn over the ball for the first time to help the visiting Giants secure their second win in a row. Washington QB Kyle Allen exited early with an ankle injury. Backup Alex Smith threw three INTs.
