Looking back, moving on

If you area student of American history and go back to them id/ late 1700s, you know what it took to bring the United States to fruition. The Founding Fathers, while facing numerous challenges, had a clear idea of what a new country needed to be: a democracy, by the people and for the people. Did they get it right in the beginning? No! Did they make mistakes? Yes! Did they correct those mistakes? Sometimes! It took a while, but eventually the U.S. began to come together and over the years became better (not perfect) and stronger. Did the Founding Fathers en vision someone like Trump being inoffice? Most likely not.

Fast forward to 2016, and we have aman who thought it might be a good idea to run for president of the U.S. This man ran, not to better the country, but to stoke his ego and take a long his minions, criminal associates, and political lackeys to be part of the ultimate reality Show. Being the conman and charlatan he is, he got his supporters to drink the “Trump-ade” and he got elected. Consider this America. This man pulled the wool over our eyes and scammed us. Once inoffice, the real “reality” set in. Thankfully, clear-thinking and right minded people knew how to get this great country back on the right track.

I congratulate President-elect Biden and Vice President-elect Harrison their victory. I knowthey will serve the people of this great country with dignity, integrity and with the sense of purpose our Founding Fathers intended.
