Here’s where to find a COVID-19 vaccine in South Florida
Here is where you can find a coronavirus vaccine in South Florida. The criteria for each location may vary, so be sure to check the site requirements before you make your appointment.
The state-run sites in Broward County have dropped a requirement that appointments are necessary; anyone can walk or drive up and get the vaccine.
Florida
The Department of Health “pre-registration” website can be found at myvaccine.fl.gov.
Residents can be notified directly when appointments near them are available at state-run COVID-19 vaccine sites.
The Federal Retail Pharmacy Program sends vaccines directly to area drugstores. The pharmacies in South Florida include CVS, Publix, Winn-Dixie, Walgreens and Walmart.
CVS: Distribution of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine is suspended; only Pfizer or Moderna vaccines will be used. CVS Pharmacy, CVS Pharmacy y más, and Navarro Discount Pharmacy locations across Florida distribute the vaccine. Sign-up is at cvs. com/immunizations/covid19-vaccine. Walgreens: Distribution of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine is suspended; only Pfizer or Moderna vaccines will be used. Walgreens signup is at walgreens.com.

Southeastern Grocers Inc. Distribution of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine is suspended; only Pfizer or Moderna vaccines will be used. Lauderhill: Residents can get vaccinated at John E. Mullin Park. Appointments are required. To schedule an appointment, call 954-730-3008 or go online at lauderhill-fl.gov/ covid-19. Call center hours are Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Miramar: The state-run Miramar Health Equity Site at Vizcaya Park, SW 49th St., is open seven days a week from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. or until supplies last. Visit floridahealthcovid19.gov/vaccines. No appointment necessary.
Pat Larkins Community Center, 520 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Pompano Beach. Because this site relied on the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, which has been suspended by the CDC, the opening is delayed until replacement vaccines are available.
Feeding South Florida, 1103 NE 33rd St., Pompano Beach. Mobile Pfizer COVID-19 vaccination site for Monday April 19, 9 a.m.- 7 p.m. The team will return to this location in 21 days to provide individuals their second dose of the vaccine.
Broward Health: Broward Health provides vaccines at the Inter Miami CF Stadium at Lockhart Park, 1350 NW 55th St., Fort Lauderdale. People should check BrowardHealth.org for updates on when new appointment requests are available. The health system maintains a wait list as day-of appointments become available. Anyone who needs to cancel or reschedule an appointment should complete the form at BrowardHealth. org/COVIDReschedule.

Walmart is distributing vaccines at its Florida stores. Eligible individuals can make an appointment at walmart.com/COVIDvaccine. Appointments will be scheduled based on vaccine availability.
Palm Beach County
Homebound: Homebound residents who want a vacccine should e-mail HomeboundVaccine@ em.myflorida.com with name and phone number to put in a request. Someone from the Florida Division of Emergency Management will contact people within 72 hours to collect more information and schedule appointments. FDEM is not accepting phone calls for this program.
The West Palm Beach VA Medical Center is offering the COVID-19 vaccine to veterans of all ages who receive care at the VA, by appointment and on a walk-in basis. Veterans must be able to return to the same site for their second dose. For more information visit westpalmbeach.va.gov. Vaccines are available Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day while supplies last at its main campus in West Palm Beach. Miami Dade College North Campus: The MDC site at 11380 NW 27th Ave, Miami, operates seven days a week, from 7 a.m.—7 p.m. South Florida’s only Federal Mass Vaccination Site, operated by FEMA, is a walk-up site with appointments scheduled in advance. Florida Memorial University, 15800 NW 42nd Ave., Miami Gardens. Open seven days a week 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. This permanent COVID -19 vaccine walk-up FEMA site will administer the Moderna vaccine. No appointment is required.
Griffing Community Center, 12220 Griffing Blvd., North Miami. The City of North Miami will offer Pfizer vaccine doses to residents who had previously scheduled a Johnson & Johnson vaccine on April 18 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Call by April 15 to register 305-895-9818.
Florida Division of Emergency Management: The state has been offering vaccine appointments at Miami Marlins Stadium and Hard Rock Stadium. Residents can monitor 1-888-499-0840 for availability. People are urged not to arrive more than 30 minutes before their appointment; anyone with an appointment is guaranteed a vaccine.
Miami Gardens. Hard Rock Stadium, 347 Don Shula Drive, Miami Gardens, expanded hours this week to accommodate people who could not get a Johnson & Johnson vaccine. Drive-thru location for first and second doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine, seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. No appointment required.
Mount Sinai Medical Center: Mount Sinai has been providing vaccines to Miami-Dade County residents who are 18 and older. Residents can monitor 305-674-2312 for availability.
Jackson Health System: Miami-Dade’s public hospital network. Make an appointment at Jackson’s online portal by visiting jacksonhealth.org.
