Here’s where to find a COVID-19 vaccine in South Florida

Here is where you can find a coronavirus vaccine in South Florida. The criteria for each location may vary, so be sure to check the site requirements before you make your appointment.

Florida

The Department of Health “pre-registration” website can be found at myvaccine. fl.gov. Residents can be notified directly when appointments near them are available at state-run COVID-19 vaccine sites.

The Federal Retail Pharmacy Program sends vaccines directly to area drugstores. The pharmacies in South Florida include CVS, Publix, Winn-Dixie, Walgreens and Walmart.

CVS: Distribution of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine is suspended; only Pfizer or Moderna vaccines will be used. CVS Pharmacy, CVS Pharmacy y más, and Navarro Discount Pharmacy locations across Florida distribute the vaccine. Sign-up is at cvs.com/immunizations/covid-19-vaccine. People without online access can contact CVS customer service at 1-800-746-7287.

Walgreens: Distribution of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine is suspended; only Pfizer or Moderna vaccines will be used. Walgreens signup is at walgreens.com.

Walmart and Sam’s Clubs. Appointments can be made at walmart.com/COVIDvaccine and samsclub.com/covid.

Southeastern Grocers Inc. Distribution of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine is suspended; only Pfizer or Moderna vaccines will be used. Winn-Dixie’s parent company, is administering COVID-19 vaccines at its Florida Winn-Dixie stores, and its Fresco y Más and Harveys Supermarket locations. Publix. Distribution of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine is suspended; only Moderna vaccines will be used. The online registration system is now open continuously. Sign up at publix.com/covid-vaccine/ florida.

Broward County

Drive-thru sites: Until further notice, no appointment is required at Department of Health-Broward vaccination sites to receive the Pfizer vaccine for COVID-19.

Tradewinds Park, 3600 W. Sample Road, Coconut Creek. Open 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday through Thursday.

Tree Tops Park, 3900 SW 100th Ave., Davie. Open 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday through Thursday.

T.Y. (Topeekeegee Yugnee) Park, 3300 N. Park Road, Hollywood. Open 8 a.m.-4 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday.

Miami CF Stadium at Lockhart Park, 1350 NW 55th St., Fort Lauderdale. 9 a.m.4:30 p.m., , Monday through Friday. This is a walk-up site.

Markham Park, 16001 W. State Road 84, Sunrise. Open 8 a.m.-4 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday.

Snyder Park, 3299 SW Fourth Ave. in Fort Lauderdale. Open 8 a.m.-4 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday.

Central Broward Park & Broward County Stadium, 3700 NW 11th Place, Lauderhill. Open 8 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Coral Square Mall, 9469 W. Atlantic Blvd., Coral Springs. Enter at the southwest entrance of at the intersection of University Drive and Atlantic Boulevard. This is a parkand-walk-up site, not a drive-thru. Open 8 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Citi Centre, 1955 N. Federal Highway, Pompano Beach. Open 8 a.m.-4 pm., Monday through Wednesday, and Friday and Saturday.

Quiet Waters Park, 401 Powerline Road, Deerfield Beach. Open 8 a.m.-4 p.m., Sunday through Thursday.

Coconut Creek. Broward College — North Campus, 1000 Coconut Creek Blvd., Coconut Creek. This site accepts walk-ups as well as those who have made appointments, seven days a week from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To make an appointment visit myvaccine. fl.gov

Davie. Davie Pine Island Park Multipurpose Center, 3801 S. Pine Island Road, Davie. Walk-ins are accepted. If coming for a first dose of the COVID-19 vaccination, make an appointment at davie.readyop.com/ fs/4caa/2971

Fort Lauderdale. Holy Cross, 4701 N. Federal Highway, Building C, Fort Lauderdale. This hospital walk-in site is providing Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Appointments for a second dose will be scheduled after first dose is administered.

Lauderdale Lakes. Vincent Torres Park, 4331 NW 36th St., Lauderdale Lakes. This site offers the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., seven days a week. No registration required. For more information call 954-535-2807 or visit lauderdalelakes.org.

Lauderhill: Residents can get vaccinated at John E. Mullin Park. Appointments are required. To schedule an appointment, call 954-730-3008 or go online at lauderhill-fl. gov/covid-19. Call center hours are Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Miramar: The state-run Miramar Health Equity Site at Vizcaya Park, SW 49th St., is open seven days a week from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. or until supplies last. Walk-ups are welcome. Visit floridahealthcovid19.gov/vaccines. No appointment necessary.

Tamarac. MD Now, 4640 W. Commercial Blvd., Tamarac. COVID-19 vaccines will be administered only to individuals with verified insurance coverage. mymdnow.com/ covid-19/vaccine/.

Broward Health: Broward Health provides vaccines at the Inter Miami CF Stadium at Lockhart Park, 1350 NW 55th St., Fort Lauderdale. Broward Health will be suspending first dose vaccinations after April 23. Scheduled individuals only, will continue to be served over the coming weeks. BrowardHealth.org/COVIDReschedule.

CVS: This retailer has suspended the use of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine; only Pfizer or Moderna vaccines will be provided at this time. Sign-up is at cvs.com/immunizations/covid-19-vaccine. People without online access can contact CVS customer service at 1-800-746-7287. Specific locations are activated based on dosage allotments to the stores.

Winn-Dixie: This retailer has suspended the use of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine; only Pfizer or Moderna vaccines will be provided at this time. Updates can be found at winndixie.com/pharmacy/covidvaccine

Walgreens: This retailer has suspended the use of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine; only Pfizer or Moderna vaccines will be provided at this time. Visit Walgreens.com/ScheduleVaccine or call 1-800-WALGREENS to schedule.

Walmart is distributing vaccines at its Florida stores. Eligible individuals can make an appointment at walmart.com/COVIDvaccine. Appointments will be scheduled based on vaccine availability.

Palm Beach County

Homebound: Homebound residents who want a vaccine should email HomeboundVaccine@em.myflorida.com with name and phone number to put in a request. Someone from the Florida Division of Emergency Management will contact people within 72 hours to collect more information and schedule appointments. FDEM is not accepting phone calls for this program.

The West Palm Beach VA Medical Center is offering the COVID-19 vaccine to veterans of all ages who receive care at the VA, by appointment and on a walk-in basis. Veterans must be able to return to the same site for their second dose. For more information visit westpalmbeach.va.gov. Vaccines are available Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day while supplies last at its main campus in West Palm Beach. The vaccine will also be offered by appointment only at select Community Based Outpatient Clinics: Delray Beach CBOC, 4800 Linton Blvd., Suite E300, Delray Beach, 33445, Wednesdays and Fridays by appointment only, call 561-422-5220.

West Palm Beach. Mary V. McDonald Wilson Center at Gaines Park, 1501 N. Australian Ave., West Palm Beach. Open Thursday-Saturday to administer COVID19 vaccines by appointment only. Visit the ProtectWPB website at ProtectWPB.com or call 561-200-3687 or TTY: 800-955-8771.

Palm Beach County: People can sign up to be on a waiting list and get alerted to availability of appointments through the state’s website at myvaccine.fl.gov. The district also is scheduling new appointments at https:// bit.ly/2MM24OJ.

The Health Care District of Palm Beach County. All registrations must be completed electronically at vaccine.hcdpbc.org/. For those with no internet access, the Health Care District’s help line is at 561-804-4115. Vaccines will be provided at the South Florida Fairgrounds (West Palm Beach), South County Civic Center (Delray Beach) and Burns Road Community Center (Palm Beach Gardens).

Miami-Dade County: Pre-register online at miamidade.gov/vaccine or by calling 305-614-2014. Someone from the county will contact people to schedule the vaccine appointments at Miami-Dade County drivethru sites, including Tropical Park, Zoo Miami, Homestead Sports Complex.

Hialeah. Bucky Dent Park Gymnasium, 2250 W. 60th St., Hialeah. Walk-up location for available Pfizer or Moderna COVID-19 vaccines, seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. No appointment required.

Miami. Oak Grove Park — Father Gerard Jean-Juste Community Center, 690 NE 159th St., Miami. To receive a Moderna or Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine, preregister at MyVaccine.FL.gov

Miami. Overtown — Parking Lot, 1551 NW First Ave., Miami. Walk-up location for available Pfizer or Moderna COVID-19 vaccines, seven days a week from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. No appointment required.

Miami. Miami Dade College North Campus: The MDC site at 11380 NW 27th Ave, Miami, operates seven days a week, from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. South Florida’s only Federal Mass Vaccination Site, operated by FEMA, is a walk-up site with appointments scheduled in advance. Miami. MD Now, 150 NW 42nd Ave., Miami. No walk-ins. COVID-19 vaccines will only be administered only to individuals with verified insurance coverage. mymd now.com/covid-19/vaccine/.

Miami Gardens. Florida Memorial University, 15800 NW 42nd Ave., Miami Gardens. Open seven days a week 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. This permanent COVID-19 vaccine walk-up FEMA site will administer the Moderna vaccine. No appointment is required.

Florida Division of Emergency Management: The state has been offering vaccine appointments at Miami Marlins Stadium and Hard Rock Stadium. Residents can monitor 1-888-499-0840 for availability. People are urged not to arrive more than 30 minutes before their appointment; anyone with an appointment is guaranteed a vaccine.

Miami Gardens. Hard Rock Stadium, 347 Don Shula Drive, Miami Gardens. Drivethru location for first and second doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine, seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. No appointment required.

North Miami. Joe Celestin Center, 1525 NW 135th St., North Miami. Individuals can receive the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Those who receive the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine will be scheduled automatically for their second dose on May 15 and May 16. Pre-registration is not required.

North Miami Beach. Congregation Shaaray Tefilah, 971 NE 172nd St, North Miami Beach. New walk-up vaccination site April 25 from noon to 4 p.m., and at-home vaccination initiative. No appointment necessary to receive the vaccine on site. For residents who may be immunocompromised or homebound, make an appointment by visiting .mymobilevax.com/miami/ appointments.

Mount Sinai Medical Center: Mount Sinai has been providing vaccines to MiamiDade County residents who are 18 and older. Residents can monitor 305-674-2312 for availability.

Jackson Health System: Miami-Dade’s public hospital network will stop providing first shots to the public after April 30. Anyone who receives a first shot at Jackson is guaranteed a second dose, with appointments continuing until May 21. Make an appointment at Jackson’s online portal by visiting jacksonhealth.org. Check safeat| jackson.org for appointment updates and availability. Vaccines will be at three locations: Christine E. Lynn Rehabilitation Center, 1611 NW 12th Ave., Miami; Jackson South Medical Center, 9333 SW 152nd St., Miami; and North Dade Health Center, 16555 NW 25th Ave., Opa-locka.
