Rahm, McIlroy, Burns share lead at BMW

The tournament outside of Baltimore is the PGA Tour’s second of three playoff events.

The announceme­nt comes a day after five-star Emoni Bates announced his commitment to Memphis for the upcoming season. College football: LSU and USC will open the 2024 season in Las Vegas, a matchup of teams that both staked claim to the 2003 national championsh­ip. The Tigers and Trojans will play in the Vegas Kickoff Classic during Labor Day weekend in 2024 at Allegiant Stadium in a game to be aired on ABC or ESPN.

Soccer: Real Madrid submitted a second, improved offer of $212 million to Paris Saint-Germain for 22-year-old forward Kylian Mbappe, ESPN reported. An initial $188 million bid was rejected Tuesday.
