Palm Beach Central’s Haston leads for Broncos’ high-flying offense
Not many players can match Palm Beach Central quarterback Ahmad Haston through the first three games of the season.
The Broncos junior completed 14-of-21 passes for 327 yards and five touchdowns as Palm Beach Central beat Boca Raton, 48-21. Haston also ran for 60 yards in the win.
Haston has 14 touchdown passes through three games this season.

Dylan Rizk | Cardinal Gibbons
Rizk completed 8-of-14 passes for 173 yards and a pair of touchdowns as Cardinal Gibbons beat Stranahan, 37-8. Rizk also ran for a touchdown.
Dakevious Burgess | Pahokee
The senior wide receiver scored two touchdowns — one receiving and one on a punt return — in the Blue Devils’ victory.
Mason Thomas | Cardinal Gibbons
Thomas had five total tackles, two tackles for loss and two sacks in a win over Stranahan. He also scored a defensive touchdown.

The senior tight end and defensive end finished with eight tackles and three sacks in the Hawks’ win.

Kelly, a Super 11 selection, had 3.5 sacks in the Panthers’ 15-7 win over Miramar.
Melvin Hubbard | Forest Hill
The senior running back and defensive back had 14 rushes for 133 yards and a touchdown and an extra-point conversion in a 46-14 win over Inlet Grove. He also added six tackles on defense and a 35-yard interception return for a score.
Armondo Blount | Dillard
Blount, a freshman defensive lineman, had 1.5 sacks in the Panthers’ victory.
Jerrius Chavers | Forest Hill
The junior running back and linebacker ran 12 times for 73 yards and three touchdowns in a 46-14 win over Inlet Grove.
Collin Hurst | Western
Hurst completed 13-of-14 passes for 173 yards and a touchdown in one half against Fort Lauderdale. The game was called at halftime due to inclement weather.
Dmitry Peters | Forest Hill
The senior athlete carried twice for 54 yards and a touchdown. He also had one reception for 7 yards and added eight tackles on defense in Forest Hill’s win.

Hines, a senior defensive back, had two tackles and a 45-yard interception return for the Wildcats.
