Bengals win AFC North

Evan McPherson kicked a 20-yard field goal as time ran out, and the Bengals earned their first AFC North title and postseason appearance in six years with a wild 34-31 win over the Chiefs on Sunday in Cincinnati.

Rookie Ja’Marr Chase had a franchise-record 266 yards receiving and three TDs, Joe Burrow threw for 466 yards and four scores and the Bengals (10-6) rallied from three 14-point deficits against the AFC West champs.

Chase broke Jerry Butler’s NFL rookie record set for the Bills against the Jets with 255 on Sept. 23, 1979.

The Chiefs (11-5) saw their eight-game winning end.

Titans 34, Dolphins 3: Ryan Tannehill threw two TD passes as the Titans clinched their second straight AFC South title, snapping the Dolphins’ seven-game winning streak. D’Onta Foreman ran for 132 yards and a TD in the home win. Bills 29, Falcons 15: The AFC East-leading Bills clinched their third straight playoff berth when Devin Singletary scored two rushing TDs in the second half. Patriots 50 Jaguars 10: The host Pats returned to the playoffs after a one-yearabsenc­e when rookie QB Mac Jones threw three TD passes and Damien Harris and Rhamondre Stevenson each rushed for two scores. Raiders 23, Colts 20: Daniel Carlson hit a 33-yard FG as time expired as the visiting Raiders edged the Colts to move one step closer to an AFC wild card. Buccaneers 28, Jets 24: Tom Brady led the Bucs on a 93-yard drive, connecting with Cyril Grayson on a 33-yard TD pass with 15 seconds left to help the NFC South champs avoid the upset on the road. Eagles 20, Washington 16: Boston Scott rushed for a pair of scores and the visiting Eagles moved one step closer to the playoffs with their fourth straight victory. Rams 20, Ravens 19: Matthew Stafford shook off three turnovers to guide a fourth-quarter rally on the road that carried the Rams to their fifth straight victory. Cardinals 25, Cowboys 22: Kyler Murray threw two TD passes to Antoine Wesley and the visiting Cardinals ended a three-game skid. The NFC East champion Cowboys had won four straight games.

49ers 23, Texans 7: Rookie Trey Lance threw two TD passes in the second half of his second career start and the 49ers moved closer to a playoff berth with the win at home.

Chargers 34, Broncos 13: Justin Herbert threw for two TDs and set the team season record (35), Andre Roberts returned a kick 101 yards for a score and the host Chargers put themselves into position to clinch a playoff berth next week. Saints 18, Panthers 10: Alvin Kamara scored on a 12-yard reception, Brett Maher kicked four FGs and the Saints won at home to stay alive in the playoff race.

Bears 29, Giants 3: Robert Quinn broke Hall of Famer Richard Dent’s franchise season record with his 18th sack and the host Bears won back-to-back games for just the second time this season. Seahawks 51, Lions 29: Rashaad Penny rushed for a career-high 170 yards and a pair of scores, Russell Wilson threw three of his four TD passes to DK Metcalf and the Seahawks crusied at home.
