Transit service getting worse, not better

-

It is unfortunate that Broward County Transit is not getting better, but rather even worse. If any bus line for any reason is interrupted, a temporary sign should be placed on bus stops to notify the riders. We cannot guess and should not be waiting for something that is not coming.

Same scenario in Dania Beach, where one of the bus lines does not circulate on Sundays. We are not third-class citizens. Recently Iwas waiting for bus 30 to go to West Terminal, and I did not know there was a detour due to train track construc- tion in process on Davie Road.

A nice driver on line 40 saw me waiting for a bus on that line and alerted me to that issue. If not, I would have waited there the whole day.

BCT has the obligation to let riders knowif there is a detour. BCT is only good to attend funerals, shopping or visiting a friend. Nothing else!

Also, the phone customer service is mediocre— for instance, not having staff on duty answering the phone. Miami-Dade runs much better. Sarina Eliyakim, Fort Lauderdale
