Jobs in health care and retail fields available at Thursday fair

Jobs in health care and other fields will be available at a fair Thursday at the West Palm Beach Marriott, 1001 Okeechobee Blvd. The job fair, being organized by Job News USA, is set for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Health care employers include: Sage Dental, with jobs throughout South Florida; Lifespace Home Health in Delray Beach; and VI at Lakeside Village, a senior care center in Lantana.

Sage Dental will conduct on-the-spot interviews for more than 20 positions, including office managers, patient coordinators, dental assistants, dental hygienists, patient care advocates and regional managers, said job fair manager Tiffany Price. Positions are available from Port St. Lucie to Miami, but many of the openings are in West Palm Beach, Boynton Beach and Wellington, she said.

Lifespace Home Health is hiring nurses, home health companions and home health aides. While VI at Lakeside will be interviewing for nursing staff, housekeepers, drivers, line cook, security guards and servers.

Employers participating in the job fair also include: Pollo Tropical and Applebee’s restaurants; Carl’s Patio; Dillard’s department store in Wellington; Jiffy Lube; Simple Health insurance agency; AXA Advisors financial firm; Kent Security Services; and WPTV-Ch. 5.
