Pop star Jason Derulo, known for hits such as “Wiggle” and “Want to Want Me,” recently sold his Coconut Creek mansion.

The home sold for $1.9 million, making it the second-highest priced sale in the history of the neighborhood, said Alexander Goldstein, an agent with Miles Goldstein Real Estate and one of the listing agents.

The 11,500-square-foot contemporary mansion sits on two acres of lush greenery located directly across from the Adios Golf and Country Club.

“This home is truly a masterpiece,” said Adi Amuial, who also works for Miles Goldstein Real Estate and partnered with Goldstein on the listing and sale of the property. “The quality, size and location demanded a tremendous price for this community, and we were glad to see the seller receive such a great number.”

Seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms are inside the home, along with Italian marble floors, a gourmet kitchen, an electric gated entrance and a resort-style backyard and pool bordered by a glass enclosure.

Goldstein said the property’s most unique feature is that half of it is considered a nature preserve.

The house was originally placed on the market earlier this year with an asking price of $2.25 million. Broward County court records show Derulo originally paid $1.75 million for the home in 2012.

Former Miami Dolphins quarterback Dan Marino once owned the property when it was just a lot, which he sold to developers in July 2006 for $575,000.
