Enough of Soros and Michael Moore
There are two people who are most outraged that Donald Trump is our President. They are George Soros and Michael Moore. My advice to them: moveout.org
These two represent the bottom of the swamp.
Mr. Soros, Mr. Moore; Call yourselves citizens, voters, or tax payers. But please don't deceive yourselves into thinking that you are patriotic citizens. The only thing you love about America is that it permits you to do things most Americans wouldn't dream of. neighborhood and the traffic we face trying to head south is absolutely horrific the majority of the day and more so at rush hour. The same condition holds true for the Wyndam Lakes residents trying to go north on Coral Ridge Drive.
The reps from Costco tell us Broward County Traffic Deptartment has done a study and in their opinion a light is not warranted. They must have done a study between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m.
That is now, today. What do you think will happen when the traffic from Costco arrives? Or does it take a traffic death? Unfortunately, that will happen sooner than later.
Broward County? Texting while doing the survey? You are not paying attention. read one person, one equal vote.
Unfortunately, most of us were disenfranchised by the Apportionment Act of 1911 which limited the numbers of members of the U.S. House of Representatives to 435.
How Congress came up with 435, I don’t know. It may have been just how many comfortable seats would fit in the chamber. The 1910 census put the U.S. population at 92 million. The 2010 census put our population at 308 million — over three times as large. But the member limit remains the same at 435.
As an example, Florida now has 27 members. If we had the Rhode Island’s ratio of two members each representing 526,284 citizens, we would have 36 members. While trebling the membership in the House to over 1,300 representatives is impractical, some increase is needed to make a Florida vote more on a par with a Rhode Island vote.
As most members spend more time in their offices than in the House chamber, an increase in House membership to 550 or 600 would seem reasonable. This change in the size of the House would also make the Electoral College more representative of the popular vote without amending the Constitution.
