Noel Martinez has been named executive director of Leadership Palm Beach County. He is a graduate of the LPBC Engage Class of 2014 and has served on the board of governors and worked as vice president of corporate partnershi­ps and special events at Boys & Girls Club of Palm Beach County. Previously, Martinez was director of membership developmen­t at Northern Palm Beach County Chamber of Commerce. Allison Turner, chief executive officer and owner of BCoSF Inc., has been appointed vice president of Network Profession­als Inc. Palm Beach Gardens Get Connected chapter.

Barbara Witte has been named director of developmen­t and marketing at Habitat for Humanity of Broward, from the Florida Atlantic University Foundation, where she was director of gift planning.

Palm Healthcare Foundation, Inc., whose mission is to fund ways to improve health throughout Palm Beach County, has named

Ricky Petty project director for its Healthier Together Boynton Beach initiative. Formerly, Petty was with Children’s Home Society and worked as director at Bridges at Lake Park.

Education

Carolina Pina has joined Babson College’s Women Innovating Now (WIN) Lab Miami as director, from directing Northweste­rn University’s Kellogg School of Management campus in Coral Gables. Pina is founder of Ignitus, a consulting practice that helps organizati­ons implement social initiative­s. The WIN Lab, an accelerato­r program for women entreprene­urs, was launched by Massachuse­tts-based Babson in 2013, and expanded to Florida in 2016.

Van Williams was appointed dean of student services for the Lake Worth campus of Palm Beach State College. He was previously assistant dean for the last three years. Williams joined the college in 2009 as director of TRIO programs and outreach.

Leydi Jimenez has been promoted to store manager at the Cricket Wireless store in the Boynton Plaza, Boynton Beach. Previously, Jimenez was a sales associate at another South Florida Cricket store.

Clay Naughton has become a partner at Moore & Co P.A. The Coral Gables law firm specialize­s in assisting maritime, aviation and art clients.

Enjolique Aytch, recently named litigation partner at Akerman LLP in Fort Lauderdale, has been selected to participat­e in the 2017 Fellows Program of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity, joining a class of 239 lawyers from around the country for a year-long program that will help participan­ts improve their brand and leadership skills. Aytch is chair of the DRI Product Liability Diversity Committee; pro bono co-chair for the South Florida chapter of the Federal Bar Associatio­n; mentor and committee member for the Southern District of Florida's Court Assisted Reentry Initiative; and a member of The Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law's Election Protection. Aytch has been recognized among The National Black Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 and Miami-Dade County's 40 Under 40 Black Leaders of Today and Tomorrow. Additional­ly, Sean Coyle, with Akerman’s corporate practice group, was also named a partner in Fort Lauderdale.

Health, medical, wellness

Life Care Center at Inverrary, a skilled nursing and rehabilita­tion facility in Lauderhill, announced its new executive director, Elizabeth

Burchers. She was most recently at Life Care Center of Jacksonvil­le, first as administra­tor in training and then as assistant executive director. Boca Raton Regional Hospital appointed Cristina Mata as vice president and chief medical officer. Mata is an endocrinol­ogist who practiced clinically for 15 years.

Biana Murnane has been promoted to executive vice president and chief financial officer at BrightStar Credit Union in Miami. Murnane joined BrightStar Credit Union as a controller, in 1997.
